International Cuisine Restaurant Group saves time and increases security by using Vistasuite

International Cuisine, LLC is a restaurant group comprised of four dining brands consisting of Roka Akor, Enolo Wine Cafe, Marigold Maison, and Nobuo. In total, the restaurants have 10 locations and serve cuisines including sushi, seafood, steak, Indian, and Japanese paired with fine wine and signature cocktails.

Challenges

International Cuisine had, in the traditional sense, had a pretty well organized system of folders and categorized images. However, there were a couple of issues they were experiencing with their way of organizing and using images in their business.

They also had some sensitive business files intermixed with their image files which caused concern when sharing folders with outside partners and also prevented them from easily viewing image files only for projects or PR initiatives. With the growing use of visual imagery in their business, they needed a clean environment in which to work with image files only to quickly find, identify, and use in a project.

Finally, over time, they had granted access to outside contacts to various folders to the point to where they did not have a clear way of knowing who had access to their images nor a quick and easy way to remove an individual from all access grant access to multiple groups of images to a new individual. In summary:

Cloud file storage, while it provided a folder directory to organize, the user environment was cumbersome for finding, viewing, and sharing images
Other types of files and folders, some sensitive, were intermixed with image files creating a potential risk to the business coupled with some challenges to quickly find and implement images for projects
Over time they had granted access to various folders with no clear way of knowing who had access to their images nor a quick and easy way to remove an individual from accessing all content

Solution

A Director with the business reached out to Vistasuite to discuss their current challenges and to conduct an evaluation of their current state and determine if Vistasuite was equipped to address the issues. Some of the items reviewed during the evaluation:

A comprehensive demo was conducted to review specific products and how each would specifically address issues
An evaluation of the file types and current organizational structure was done to determine suitability
A plan was made to conduct a full transfer of all existing images to Vistasuite

Results

International Cuisine continues to have a well organized structure that is now image-focused and users are now able to search, filter, and sort to quickly find relevant images for their projects.
The business now has a private environment dedicated to their own visual images, providing easy ways for team members to find, view, organize, and share with outside partners.
Users can now clearly view and manage people and their access to specific groups of images and easily add new users to grant access to one, multiple, or all image spaces.
